1. This forum is for non-commercial use only. If you sell goods that you make as a side business we offer VERY resonable advertising and classified rates. This goes for any type of commercial venture. Please contact Holly to get started!

2. You must have at least 50 posts or more to list an item in this forum.

3. You may post links to ebay or other auctions site you have listings on.

4. Please do not repeatedly bump up your item. You may bump up your ad (if it has not sold) every 7 days. Remember that questions may be asked so it will most likely bump your item up anyway!

5. Once your item is sold or you find the item you need please contact a mod to remove your post so we can keep this forum up to date.

6. How to post:

SUBJECT TITLE: If you are "In search of" an item, please use the abbreviation "ISO" in your subject heading. It makes it a lot easier to figure out who is looking and who is selling. "I'm looking for", etc is acceptable as well.

BODY OF AD: Try to be as descriptive as possible and most of all, be honest. Most items will have the following terms:

Mint, Never Used, In Box
New in Box
New
Gently Used
Well Used
Dog-Eared (like a book, for instance)
Vintage (over 20 years old)

7. PHOTOS: Your photos should not be any bigger than 50K and should not be so physically large that they alter the width of the text box in which your ad appears. They should be clear representations of the item you are selling and should be the actual item, not a photo from an ad, unless you have made it clear that is where you got your picture, and the condition of the item is the same or well-described.

8. If you are responding to an ad:

Please make sure you also contact the seller directly by PM if you are interested in their item.

9. If your item has sold, please edit your title to reflect that, i.e.:

BEFORE: Collection of Nancy Drew Books, first edition

AFTER: Collection of Nancy Drew Books *SOLD*

10. If you fail to mail an item after payment is made or fail to refund money if you can no longer sell an item that has been purchased, you will be blocked from this forum and unable to list or buy from the Garage Sale forum until you resolve the issue.

If you are a staff member and this occurs, you will be returned back to a regular member until you mail the item or refund the money.
