Hello!

We are so glad you decided to join our community! We are a community made up of women from all different walks of life, and in all different stages of life. We have general discussion forums, trying to conceive forums, pregnancy forums, and forums for mothers of children from newborn all the way up! Please feel free to post in as many forums as you like! None of our forums are exclusive, and most of our members float between forums to post, even if they do not "fit in" to the specific category. Every member is welcome in every forum.


Here are a few things you may need to know if you are just joining us.

Terms of Service
Please be sure to read and follow our terms of service. These terms are very important, as they allow My Little Bean to continue to be a supportive, drama free community where you can feel at home. If you have any questions about the Terms of Service, please contact a staff member for assistance.

Membership:
Please check out our Membership Page to find usefull information on becoming a My Little Bean supporter. Membership comes with many perks, including our newest perk, an arcade! (Click the title above to find the page)

Staff:

Forum Hosts:
At the bottom of the list posted above there is a list of forum hosts. Please feel free to contact the forum host of the forum you are posting if you have problems or concerns. Many of them are great with signature help, and all are active posters in their specific forums. If there is something they can not help you with, they will direct your question to a Moderator or Admin.

Moderators:
All of our moderators can help in any forum that you need. They can edit/move posts as needed, as well as answer most of your questions or problems you may have. Please feel free to contact any moderator if you have problems or concerns, they will be happy to help! All of our moderators are active posters all over the boards, so you will see them in all forums.

Administrators:

Signatures and Picture Posting
Signatures:
All of our members have the ability to create a custom signature. Our software allows you to use either HTML, or the IMG codes provided in the signature editing page. To edit your signature, click on "User CP" at the top of the page. It will take you to your account settings. Click on "Edit Signature" The editing box has buttons on it that allow you to insert links, pictures, change the fonts, etc... without typing in all the codes.

Pictures and graphics used in signatures may be hosted for free at several different image hosting sites. Popular ones include www.photobucket.com, and www.imageshack.com

Registered Members' siggies cannot be over 40K. Your icon/personal picture cannot be over 30K, or 75x75 pixels... and cannot be of a physical size that disrupts the board template in anyway. If you are unsure of the size of your signature, move your mouse over each seperate item of your siggie...for instance, each blinkie, each graphic...then right click over each of them and click on "Properties". If the size of all your graphics in your siggie adds up to be over 40,000 bytes (that's 40KB) then you need to remove or resize. The problem is when there are so many graphics, it can make the board run VERY slow for a lot of people. Only Supporters and Lifetime Supporters are allowed to have siggies between 40-120K. If you want a bigger siggie, upgrade to a paid supporter by visiting our Membership page.

Pictures in Posts:
Registered members are only allowed 75K worth of images in posts. Supporters are allowed up to 500K.

Private Messaging:
All members have the ability to Private Message other members of the board. Simply click on their usernames to open their profile, and click "Private Message"
