It's so sad to know that your hurting... if you need anything, i'm hear for you.
Just a couple questions if you don't mind... did he use a collection condom (b/c i hear results can be higher with that) Also, how long did he abstain before the sample was taken (Longer periods of abstinence correlate with poorer results - one study found that men with repeated normal results produced abnormal samples if they abstained for more than 10 days) Don't give up.... men with poor sperm result can still go on to father children!!! Thank you everyone for the kind welcome. I am so glad to find fellow TAPS fans. I hope I will be a viewer and not a participant soon for Project Baby. I'm in my 2 week wait now.
I'm sorry to hear your results Turtle. It must be so hard to hear that news. I'll keep you in my prayers. Still keep up hope. Miracles happen everyday, and you only need one little sperm to make it.

Thank you all for your kind words and support. I am a wreck right now. DH is taking this much better than I am, and I feel terrible for being a blubbering mess. I hope this gets better because I am a mess. Urology is backed up through Novemner....and the NP that I talked with will not refer us until another 5 weeks after he does another sample and waits a week for results.

I am so very, very sorry to hear about the struggles and challenges you are going through. Please know that you and your situation have a very special place in my heart and I will be lifting you up in my daily prayers. I know that a lot of the ladies here will also be doing that and thinking positive thoughts, etc. for you. A number of the ladies here are going through the same or similar struggles and it is so comforting to know that there's a place where we can all get together and vent, lean on each other and support each other, even carry each other's burdens through difficult times. Even if it's just for a little while. I know I treasure the friendships I have found here in the short time I've been here so far. Please don't lose heart or give up the faith! Miracles happen every day! Every day! I know the waiting is tough but whatever you have to go through will absolutely be worth it when you hold that precious little bundle in your arms and I truly believe that you will. I really do. I know of so many people, a few very personally, who have traveled the same road you're on, some who have even had their tubes tied or their husbands had a vasectomy and they couldn't afford to have reversal surgery yet have gone to have healthy, biological children. Things might seem overwhelming or even bleak right now but there is a much greater picture that you can't see. Yet. You just might be pleasantly suprised!  So hang in there and know that you can always come here and find a shoulder to lean on or just to cry on for awhile. Don't worry about blubbering either! We all do that. It's critical you know!! Can't keep everything all bottled up inside!  ,Rebekah

waveskw: I absolutely DON'T think you're being mean or remotely witch-like. I would probably be pretty annoyed and frustrated too! Just try to keep in mind that she's probably not trying to outshine you or compete with you as from her point of view, you could be stealing HER thunder!
 I think (ok, I'm assuming here) that she's probably comforted by the fact that you two are going through these life-changing events together. I could be way off here but try to look at things from her perspective. It couldn't hurt, right?? Bottom line; your wedding and your precious baby are YOURS and YOURS ALONE. Celebrate the heck out of all of this just for you!! Have special "date nights" with just you and hubby where you celebrate all of the blessings that have come and are coming your way. If/when you have a baby shower, have it for you only (and don't forget to invite her so she can watch you shine!  ). There's nothing selfish about that at all. I have two brothers who are both expecting little blessings around the same time next year and for me, there isn't one baby more anticipated than the other. My brothers are both completely unique individuals and my excitement for one greatly differs from my excitement for the other! They're separate people with separate lives, backgrounds and situations. People respect that. I'm just trying to share the "lemonade" from someone who's on the outside looking in.I hope that helps a little...  Rebekah P.S. Rebekah--Thank you so much!! Your post brought me back to my blubbery state, but it was worth it. It is so nice to have the support on here from all of you. I fear that I would not be able to make it without you all some times. I have been a mess. House has gone to hell, I havent put makeup on, I just don't want to do anything!! I have been useless at work. I just feel like crap. I know there are options, but they just don't seem possible right now. I know it only takes one sperm. I just fear another M/C if they are indeed bad. Another couple I know who just got together (in fact they were friends in High School and they met up and got married that same weekend) have announced today they finished their 1st trimester and they are expecting in Feb. Not what I wanted to hear this morning. And the day we got the news about DH was also the same day a friend of ours had her baby. This all makes me sick. I feel like I should be happy for these people, but I really want to scream!!!!!!! Again, thank you ALL for your kind words and support. I love you all!!!!
We leave tomorrow for a much needed vacation. We are heading to our family cabin for some r & r and then we are off to Chicago for DH's Bday. If anyone is a Cubs fan please pay attention to the middle of the 5th inning!!! I have arranged for a scoreboard message. It will read HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRAVIS, LOVE YOU-CRYSTAL & ZEUS

Sorry i have been missing in action for the last couple of days... things have been really busy around here! At work....
 and at home!Booboo's turtle.... keep your head up and i'm so glad to hear that your taking a vacation. Take some time for yourself and try to do some r and r! Thank you so much for your kind words mamacastleberry. She does like to be the center of attention but maybe your right and she just wants to share this with me! It's always nice for someone to give you a different perspective. I'll try not to think about it and concentrate on my happiness. With that said.... i'm having a hard time doing that! I got so stressed today i broke down in tears. My department manager is being a real jerk and when i took on more hours at work this last july they were supposed to make better benifit available to me. Well, to make a long story short, i never recieved a benifits package and i only had 30 days to fill it out! She could of easily resent the paperwork (per our human resourses department) but she told me yes one day and then told me no she "couldn't lie like that" I didn't ask her to lie... i asked her to tell the truth b/c i haven't started working my NEW schedual yet! I'm just realy worried that i won't get a paid maternity leave (i know it's early to be thinking of that but DH and I need it to pay bills) My work offers 12 weeks unpayed and then short term disability to pay for the leave... well short term disability was one of the benifits i should of had the chance to get when i got these new hours!  I just feel like i put so much into my job and they go and screw me!!! Thanks for letting me vent!!!

Alethia: booo for AF. I'm so sorry, especially because you had been hoping so much. That's so hard. Sometimes I feel like its better not to hope... I never stop though, and I doubt you stop either. This is just too much a part of our hearts. You are so strong though to keep trying and keep hoping. You seem to have accepted and sorrowed over a lot of loss and many dashed hopes. the people in your life are surely blessed by your tender heart. Thanks for letting us be a part of your journey.
