Space Bags
Has any one tried these yet? I think that is what they are called. They are the plastic storage bags that you can fill with clothes. bedding, etc., and then you suck the air out with your vacuum cleaner & it creates a much smaller bag. Also, if dirt or water gets on it the stuff inside is supposed to be unharmed. I have seens tons of commercials for these & seen them at WalMart & have thought about trying them. Just wondering if anyone here has & if they were as great as they are made out to be.

I have had them and used them. I actually liked the fact that they saved me SOOO much space. My blankets didnt get that musty smell, either. Just becareful to not overstuff cause the zipper on them can break pretty easy, then what's the point. KWIM? Actually, I might get some more cause my linen closet is STUFFED!

I don't have them, though have often considered it.
My mom has some - only problem is, she has cats who decided to walk on them and puncture holes with there claws---- so they aren't too space saver any more

Love them - I've used them for years now for packing out of season clothing, blankets/ comforters etc. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

i must have gotten a bad batch or something cause no matter what i did, they wouldnt stay closed. the zipper would always pop open even wtih a few things in it. so i gave up on them
