Do ya like Bare Minerals? Well....
I just couldn't bring myself to spend $100 + on the kit, even though I did test it at Sephora and loved it--wow--
 made my face look airbrushed.Yesterday, I was at Target, strolling down the nail polish/makeup aisle, and what did I see? L'Oreal is producing their own, called "Bare Naturale" Powdered Mineral Foundation. It's around $12. I thought, heck, I can test it out for that little. So I did, and I am here to tell you--I used it this morning, and it is, HANDS DOWN, the best foundation I have ever used (and that's saying something because I have used a LOT of foundation in my time). This covers every flaw you have yet doesn't look at all like heavy makeup! It is very light and you feel like you have nothing on. I am sitting here, a few hours later, still surprised. I keep going in the bathroom to look at my skin. I can't get over how great it looks, and I'm currently closer in age to 40 than 30, so I am overly critical of my skin's appearance. The only thing I was worried about was color, because my skin tone is WEIRD...  and right now it's sort of beige-pink, so I ended up with Nude Beige despite my wanting to go lighter. I am so glad I didn't. Love it!!

I have been looking for a good foundation Its hard for me cause my skin looks flakey when I use powder foundation and I'm very pale. I like those liquid to powder ones dose this have those beat?

Polly,
I bought a knock off of the bare minerals on ebay and I like them too. The only problem I ran into with them was if my face happened to be a little bit oily the make up didnt go on as smooth. Plus, if you dont use a good brush you dont get as good results, I found out. I have to agree with you though, at the end of the day, its the best foundation. Much, MUCH better than any liquid I have ever used.

I am a MAC cosmetic girl . My face breaks out really easily though so I have to be very careful at what I use.
 I will try it though I am always willing to try a good product.

Thanks for the review Polly, I love the bare minerals, but also have a heart attack spending that much $$ on makeup.

I can't wait to get some! The girls where I used to work swore by bare minerals but I could never bring myself to spend the $! My problem w/ foundation is I put it on and an hour later you can't tell I did... does this STAY on???

Okay, it's been about 6 hours since I put it on and it is all still there, looks exactly like it did when I put it on--and here's the test for me--I have a wonderful eyeliner that I adore but I have to normally put a LOT of powder under my eyelashes to make sure it stays put or else in this TX heat and humidity it will run, run, run.......well ladies, it hasn't moved at all!
Kelly, MAC is really good makeup. It can be pretty pricey...like Trish McEvoy, Bobbi Brown, etc. I was using Lancome's dual-finish powder for the longest time, but I was starting to notice a lot of little lines around my eyes a few hours after using that. It would also look cakey sometimes, it was just unnatural. This is very fresh looking, dewy almost, and my god, I never thought I'd ever use that word, but there it is. Dewy. I have used cream-to-powder foundation as well. This is just a whole other category. Much better. You do exactly what you see on the Bare Minerals commercial, Swirl, Tap, Buff. No fooling. It's great! Someone go buy it and tell me if I am off my rocker!
