Ok, first, see, I shave.........down there. But I know pretty soon I won't be able to see down there. Is it ok to get waxed? One thing I read said yes and one said no.
Second, can you recommend a good bottle and pacifier for babies who will hopefully be breast fed or bottle fed pumped breast milk?

For bottles, I think it depends on the kids. My two had no real preference. I did use the Medela bottles that came with my pump (and I bought some more after I had Trystan) just because they were convenient for use with the pump. But most any standard size bottle works with my pump (which reminds me, I should put THAT in the pile of stuff to bring next weekend TOO!).
Nipples are generally the iffy part. Mostly I just got slow flow nipples and if the kid didn't like them, I'd switch to different ones. I think there was only one kind that Trystan didn't like (they had bumps). Myatt never had much of an issue taking any of them.
That said, my kids have always seemed to be unusually easy going on most things.

I've never heard either way about waxing, I would think it would be fine.
I BF, pumped and bottle fed EBM my twins and we used Dr Brown's bottles. For the first month or two we used the bottles the NICU gave us. I don't know what kind they were, but they were SUPER tiny and the only size not too big for their mouths.

I have heard that waxing hurts like a mother when pregnant, so I've been afraid to try. As for bottles, NUK has a new bottle that is for breastfeeding babies that I want to try this time. It's a soft silicone bottle (I think) with a special nipple. I want to say it's supposed to empty like the breast does, but I can't remember. Their website is down today. :(

no idea on the waxing...
as for bottles I agree...it depends on the child Meghan would never take a bottle unless we were grocery shopping or some such and she was super hungry...then she'd only eat jus enough to get by and that was it...when I did use em though I used the tops that came with the pump I had...(which got lost in the move to here...gotta get me a new one now)

You may want to consider not waxing. Added bloodflow to the area may lead to increased bleeding and chance of infection if you remove hair in a "violent" way. Still, I understand the need to keep up your beauty regimen.
I use MAM ulti-vent bottles and MAM pacifiers. Cheap, well-reviewed, and easy to find on Amazon.com. The bottles are BPA free plastic with silicon nipples, and since the nipples aren't just points, they mimic the open-mouth needed for breastfeeding. It's also harder for the baby to teethe on them. The bottoms screw out for easy cleaning. I haven't had much by way of gas issues, and my son is exclusively bottle-fed with breastmilk. MAM is made in Austria, so no China issues. And they're coming out with a line of sippy cups with the same design, so there will be ease of transition. Learning to screw the bottoms tight enough is important, but other than that, I can't recommend the bottles highly enough. I tried Avent, Chicco, Playtex, and Soothies, and I much prefer these.

Both of my boys like the Playtex drop-in's. We tried alot of the other bottles and those are the ones they prefered. As for "down there" Nessie is right with the blood flow increase it could cause problems not to mention really painful.

waxing is REALLY painful when pregnant. For all of the reasons mentioned above.. increased blood flow, more sensitivity in that area. lol.. I used a product called Veet for sensitive skin and it seemed to work for me. Doc said because it was topical, it was ok and wouldn't hurt anything. I did that until I couldn't see down there anymore, and then I just suffered with it until after Morgan was born.
As for the binky question.....no idea. ROFL

About the waxing I have no idea, I wax my face and would never dream of waxing down there. The pain, OMG! the pain. your insane!
As for bottles, my boys were both breastfed and both were so different as to which bottles they would take, if they would actually take one. Jordan didnt care, as long as he got food in his tummy he was a happy baby. For him I kept the Playtex drop ins on hand. His paci was a playtex too, and they dont make his style anymore.
Peyton refused a bottle for the most part. A friend of mine borrowed me one of hers for a while to try and he would take it on occasion but not often. It was more hassle for me than it was worth, but I only had one and stayed home with him. His paci was also Playtex, but not the same style as Jordan's, I believe it is the current style you see more often now.
Sorry, I'm not much help am I? LOL

Well I have worked on OB/GYN and she said NO to all her patients due to the fact that the skin in that area is really touchy as she puts it...lol! plus you are give it a chance of infections too!
