A Prayer Request for a 7yr old
A friend of my Mom's, Julie, has a son named AJ *~he;s got Autism...~*
well...he's been staying with Thresea...Thresea has a granddaughter named Cassie...AJ and Cassie are the best of buds... Cassie is a 7 yr old girl...she was riding some motor bike and somehow ended up getting hit *~or she ran into...~* a pickup truck...when this truck and her collided she lost control of the bike and went down...a semi came along and ran over her dragging her about 100 ft...nobody knows for sure what happened before that semi came along though... Cassie is still alive...she;s got a punctured lung, a damaged growth plate *~how badly...time will tell...~* and is missing 3-4inches of ligaments in her ankle/leg... this all happend on Saturday morning...I jus now found out abt it I promised AJ I;d post this for Cassie...AJ's not sure how to handle this as it's 1 of his best friends...so the prayers are needed for CAssie and AJ both...CAssie that she makes it through either way with as lil pain as possible...and AJ to know what happens is for the best...*~AJ's 18...~*

thanks for praying for them...
an update *~AJ jus told me when I last seen him...~* Cassie's undergoing some tests to see what can be done for her leg by a plastic surgeon...I;m guessing AJ meant that a plastic surgeon is looking at her leg/ankle to see what he can do to fix it somewhat at least...

I;ve not heard anything more from AJ...and in the case of AJ no news is good news...so I;m assuming things are going good...last I knew CAssie was in a doctor-induced coma to allow her body to heal...
as far as what happened they finally got it to the pickup truck hit her...she wasn;t even on the road when this happened...the motor bike was 1 of them kid motorcycles basically...she ended up laying in the road after the pickup truck hit her...the semi was already hitting his breaks when CAssie got caught on something on his truck...they;re not sure where or how...she only got her leg run over by 1 wheel of the semi...the punctured lung comes from her having been dragged...if she hadn;t gotten caught on the semi she;d;ve been dead cuz she;d've gone under all the wheels of the semi... EDIT: I nearly forgot...*~baby brain...haha...~* I told AJ CAssie was being prayed for...he said good good she needs it tell them people thanks for CAssie and me...so AJ says thanks to those who are praying for Cassie
