Hey ladies. Thank you for the good thoughts. We arrived at the hospital at 11:40am. They called me back into pre-op at 1:00 and started an IV. Michael was brought back..........and we waited. The doctor was in traffic in Atlanta and was expected to be there about 3. At about 3:20 they tell us that she is in an emergency C-section at the other end of the hospital. They finally wheeled me into the OR at 5:15! Apparently all went well. My eyes were open in the recovery room at 6:10. I was facing a clock. I was back in a pre-op room by 6:50 and my DH was with me by 7. We were home by 8:00. My next door neighbor had dinner waiting for us on our stove. I was asleep in bed by 10.
Today I am doing well. My throat is sore and my voice is funky from the oxygen tube in my throat. I am tired quickly. Right now I am worried because I sent my DH out for a few groceries 2 HOURS AGO!!! Oh well. I am healing both physically and emotionally.

the Doctor's at my place don't like to use anastesia (sp?) if they don't have to, so they drugged me up and told me I wouldn't remember anything about it, but I do, I remember just about all of it. I was really out of it, but you just don't forget something like that.
