Getting frustrated...
So most of you know I've been actively looking for another job to do in addition to working at the hospital. I love my job, but can't go up in point status (we're fully staffed already) so more hours isn't an option. I really need to find something else so we can get DH through school.
 I applied 3 DAYS AGO  for a teaching job that sounded really promising, and has great pay, but haven't heard a thing.  So if you all could send some P & PT for a good job opportunity somewhere for me that would be great!

My mom is a nurse. She works at the state hospital...AKA "the looney bin". She makes pretty good money.

 We have something like that here too, but I'm not too keen on the idea of working somewhere where people throw their feces at you.

UGH! I know how you're feeling! I've been looking for another job since LAST YEAR! I got in spurts where I job hunt actively for a few months then I give up with frustration. Well wouldn't you know I got called on Friday last week for an interview for a job that I applied to in flippin' JUNE! Keep your head up! Everything happens for a reason! Hey Candice, have you ever thought of getting extra work through a homecare agency? You could pick up a few visits here and there, work at night and weekends, whenever you want. I love it, it is so flexible. I know that there are lots of prn nurses that work for the company I work for
