anyone have it? It is an extra you can get for your iPod Nano, that tracks your mileage, HR, calories burned, etc, from your runs. You can download the info from your iPod to your computer to track your running, you can do virtual runs with other people (totally cool!). You do have to get the Nike+ shoes, too, but I am in the market for some new shoes soon. I think I'm going to get this when we order my iPod. What the hey--Ryan gets a discount!
Wondering if anyone has it, if they like it? I figure this is the next best thing to a GPS watch thingy--those are way too expensive. This is only 29 dollars added to the cost of an iPod.

I have a friend who gets a bunch of Apple stuff through her job and they got the iPod and shoes for free (they've also given her an iBook and iPhone <_<). She seemed to like them. The only issue she had with them is that they didn't register things like ellipticals since they need impact to register a step.

I have one and I love it. I don't use Nike shoes cause they hurt my feet (well they used to and I Love my ASICS...I put the sensor in a shoe wallet and tie that to my laces. There are other things on the market that you can get so you don't have to have the nike shoes (unless you like/want the nike shoes). Its not quite AS accurate as the GPS watch things but hey...its pretty darn accurate for $29. And yes it only works for jogging/walking, not ellipticals or bikes, etc. Its not quite as accurate on a treadmill either but its close enough for me. The challenges and goals are a lot of fun and motivating...

ooh, that's good to know, Ally. I love New Balance shoes...I wonder if I could just do the same and put it in something else? My husband is an Apple geek, so he'll tell me to get the shoes Or maybe not---maybe he can ask some of his coworkers if they've heard of other shoes that work with the thing, too

I know this thread is old, but Jenny, I bought the Nike + sensor package, and I bought Asics for running (just started running last week). I have the sleeve that goes on the laces and it works great!
