I , Polly, am on Atkins OWL. I pledge to keep myself cheat free for the next 7 days.

I pledge to do the following: (or add your own)

1. Keep under 50 g carbs per day.
2. Exercise 5 times this week, working up to burning 300 cal/day.
3. Take 225 mcg synthroid every day.
4. Drink at least THREE 20-oz bottles of water a day.
5. Eat all my vegetables - at least 3 cups a day.
6. I will not eat any junk food, only wholesome snacks.
7. Eat at least 3 meals a day and not go more then 6 waking hours without eating.
8. I will watch my portion sizes and use the palm of my hand as a guide.

Dinner: chuck roast (0g), mixed veggies
Snacks: 2 T. peanut butter (6g), celery w/ranch dressing (3g)
Water: 56 oz
Exercise: 6 minutes on elliptical...groan
Supplements/Meds: synthroid
Vegetables: carrots, broccoli
Calorie, Carb, or Fat Intake: 32 g

Snacks: celery and peanut butter (4), low-sugar ice cream
Water: bad Polly!! Not enough, only 2 20-oz bottles :(

Dinner: 2 ricotta balls, 2 small pieces of foccacia dipped in olive oil and herbs, 1 house salad with italian, chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella, green beans and squash, and a few bites of chocolate mousse pie (I tried to be good...we were at an italian restaurant and it was very hard!!!)
Snacks: nuts, whipped cream, and cheese
Water: 48 oz (bad bad!!)
Exercise: 11 minutes on the elliptical!
Supplements:
Vegetables: green beans, squash, and salad greens
Carb Intake: not sure...my guess is close to 100...yikes
Thoughts for the Day: My new favorite Italian restaurant is Ciro's

Week 2! 1/30-2/6

I , The Pollster, am following a low-GI way of eating. I pledge to keep myself cheat free for the next 7 days.

I pledge to do the following:

Dinner: broiled mahi-mahi, fresh green beans, tossed salad w/ranch...dessert was sf chocolate pudding!
Snacks: sugar-free popsicles, handful of almonds, and a spoonful of almond butter
Water: 68 oz!
Exercise: 14 mins on elliptical! I burned 155 cals, and 22 g. carbs!
Supplements: synthroid
Vegetables: green beans, celery, salad
Carb Intake: 44 g
Thoughts for the Day: I know I can do 15 mins tomorrow!!

Tuesday~Day 2

Breakfast: coffee (no breaky!! running late...grrrrr)
Lunch: tuna fish sandwich on whole wheat
Dinner: dreamfield's low-carb pasta w/clam sauce, low-carb garlic bread, green beans, salad w/ranch
Snacks: bowl of Kellogg's Complete, celery with almond butter
Water: 88 oz
Exercise: I did 15 minutes! YAY!!! 158 calories and 24 carbs burned!!!

Thoughts for the Day: TOMORROW IS WEIGH IN DAY!!! I think I may have lost another pound!!

Calorie, Carb, or Fat Intake: not sure, somewhere around 70 is my guess
Thoughts for the Day: Happy Birthday to Matt's parents!
