A little scare
So apparently this child is determined to be just as big a pain in the butt as his/her siblings. I was getting ready to lay down for naps with the kids around 1 (Abby's home sick) when I went to the bathroom and had some major bleeding. It was pretty much out of nowhere, bright red and enough to turn the water red.
So, I spent the last two hours trying to track down the nurse (since she, yet again, hadn't called me back an hour after leaving a message) and then going in for an impromptu visit. The nurse-practitioner saw me and was able to find a heartbeat with the doppler, so that helped a lot. She asked if I was scheduled for an U/S and I told her I was having the NT U/S but not until the 18th. So, she moved that up to next Wednesday.  I will have a lot more peace of mind once I can see the heartbeat on the screen and hopefully see some movement going on (last u/s we saw a hb but no movement) If nothing else, I'm relieved to have the NT U/S moved up because they had me scheduled at 13w6d...talk about cutting it close!And all this is going on and all I can think is "all I wanted was a nap! That's what I get for coveting sleep!" (usually we have to interrupt Lucas's nap to pick Abby up from school)

How scary! I'm so glad they heard the heartbeat! Take it easy Momma. I had lots of bouts of bleeding with Brodie and he's fine if that eases your mind at all!

 That is the scariest thing EVER!! I had a month of bleeding when I was pg with Jayson. Take it as easy as you can. Glad that you got to hear the heartbeat. That helps ease the mind.  for an earlier ultra sound.

Thanks everyone! I'm still spotting brown, but that's to be expected I'm sure. I took it pretty easy this weekend, but the week has begun so no more rest for the weary. LOL We'll see how things go today when I'm back to chauffering Abby, grocery shopping, etc.
