***IMPORTANT INFO RE: POLITICAL SIGGIES***

As the National Conventions approach us in the next week or so, the presidential election campaigns will be getting into full swing very soon. As we have seen in past elections, this is often a passionate time and things can get a little hairy, even amongst such mature and even minded people as our members here at MLB.

We want everyone to feel free to express their preferences. It wouldn't be in the spirit of democracy to ban political siggies outright, but we want to maintain the drama-free and positive atmosphere that we have worked so hard to establish throughout the years.

With that in mind, we really only have one rule we want to enforce in regards to political comments/graphics/etc. in signatures:

STAY POSITIVE, NO BASHING or MUDSLINGING

In other words, please only use graphics in SUPPORT of your chosen candidate. Please DO NOT use negative graphics AGAINST a certain candidate. This will be enforced at the descretion of the staff and applies whether the message of the signature is expressly negative or merely implied.

If you wish to debate certain issues, feel free to start a thread in The Soapbox forum.
