What kind of desserts do you make using whipped topping? I just discovered mixing cool whip with sugar and cream cheese makes a good pie filling. I ate the leftover filling by itself . I was making a Mud Pie at that time.

I use cool whip, cream cheese, sugar, and pineapple with a pretzel crust. Yum!

Try coolwhip, orange jello mix, cottage cheese, and mandarine oranges. yumm! Actually, my sister likes it with raspberry jello, too.

Never thought to mix cottage cheese with Cool Whip or Jell-O. Actually I've never had cottage cheese. I just tried the chocolate Cool Whip and love it. I'm going to mix it with some chocolate pudding and put it on an oreo crust for dessert.

When you do the cottage cheese cool whip thing just add the jello powder don't make it into actual jello.

I also make what we so lovingly call "frogeye salad"
it requires pistachio pudding, acini de pepe pasta, cool whip and pineapple tidbits(opt)

boil your pasta until it is done, mix your pudding and let it set up add your pasta, cool whip and pineapple and put back in fridge let set up and then enjoy.

Thanks for the tips. The frogeye salad is interesting. Never heard anything like it. Did you invent that yourself or did you get the recipe from somewhere else?

It has always been in the family for as long as I can remember. So I don't know who came up with it. Jayson loves it. I really don't like pineapple in mine but if you like you can add.

I think I have a recipe on here already for a raspberry jello dessert. It is easy to make and tastes really good. I first made it for Easter & since then every get together Dh's family has had they ask me to bring it, so I am actually kind of sick of making it! I also have a 'luck of the Irish dessert' on here with cool whip. I make it for St. Patrick's day, but you could make it if you like mint & chocolate.

There are good recipes on coolwhip.com I saw an Irish Cream Chocolate Mousse. I love chocolate and would like to try it. My favorite one to make so far is called Banana Split Pie.
