There is a lot to consider when starting fertility treatments, including your diagnosis, insurance coverage, and you and dh's comfort level as far as which procedures you are willing to do, and which you aren't. All of these things would be addressed by an RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist). As long as he is a reputable RE, he will have your best interest in mind, and will thoroughly explain all the pros/cons/risks etc. of each test and treatment. So finding a good RE would be a great start! Most REs will start seeing patients after they have been TTC for one year, or are over a certain age, and TTC 6 months.

I hope some of this will be helpful in your decision. It's a big decision, and requires both you and DH (or partner) to be totally on board, but can be worth it!
