I've decided to start up yet another TTC diary, since we will be "aggressively" (as my RE put it) TTC again.
My RE put me on 2 months of BC before starting our first round of Femara. The only problem now, is that I have been bleeding heavily for almost 2 weeks while on the BC. So I don't know if he'll be able to start the cycle right away, or if I need to wait for af to come after the BC. (I could swear I am on af, but who knows). So I get to call him Monday and ask what his thoughts are. I just want to get this started already!
I am trying to keep a positive outlook on our efforts, even though I know that this is not going to be an easy road. It is hard though. I find myself thinking it's just never going to happen, and can now picture my life with no kids. If it hasn't happened the the last 5 1/2 years, I'm not sure what a little Femara is going to do
but I guess we'll see! We both have a very different outlook on this whole thing than we did a few years ago, though. I think we both know that there is no point in getting hopes up too fast. I know that's a crappy attitude to have, but it's a little hard not to have it
The good news in all this is that DH and I both are done with school now, and are both in really good jobs, leaving us much more financially sable. This also means that even though my insurance does not cover treatments, we would definitely be up to paying out of pocket for IUI and IVF if that is the road we end up taking. Just knowing that IUI and IVF are now possibilities does lighten the outlook a lot
So, we shall see what happens!
