I love internet cheapie hpts because it gives you the freedom to test and test without breaking the bank. I've personally had a baaad with Dollar Tree tests, even though some women swear by them. ICs are also cheaper than dollar tree tests, if you can believe that. Holly (the owner of MLB) was at one time selling hpts and opks, but I believe she's taken a hiatus from that right now. I highly recommend getting your ICs from B A B Y C R E A T I O N she's very nice, is very reasonable (cheaper than a lot of places I've looked at), and has cheap shipping. In addition to her site she also sells on eBay. I actually just ordered 30 hpts and 30 opks from her $17.00 with $2.00 shipping the other day

I read recently on PeeOnAStick.com (great resource) that the earliest you can test and get pretty reliable results is 12DPO. I don't think there's anything wrong with testing early, but keep two things in mind.

One is that some tests out need more hcg to get a positive than others. This is particularly true of those "digital" tests. Even among regular line tests some are more sensitive than others. I really like Answer Quick and Simple because I've never, ever had an evap on those and they were always reliable for me.

Two is that the early you test the less secure you'll be in your results. Also, different women implant at different times, and if your baby implanted on the later end and you test early you could get a false BFN only because you don't have enough hcg in your urine yet to register.
