My Mood:
My condolences to your sister I was in a similar situation. It was a friend not an ex-lover though who concealed his sickness and then eventually passed with only his immediate family knowing. At first I was angry because he was so young and he didn't tell any of his friends, close or not, and always played it out like he was fine around us when he really wasn't but then again, thinking back, that's the kind of person he was, not ever wanting to let people worry about him. What I learned from that experience though was that everything happens for a reason. In the end I'm glad he finally didn't have to suffer anymore, I KNOW he is in a better place now and it's not the end, we will see eachother other again because when friendships/relationships are strong they will always trascend lifetimes. Good luck to your sister, she seems like a strong woman so I know she'll get through this. You seem like an awesome sister too, to worry and care so much about her and yes, listening is the best help you could offer her in a time of grieving. Take care and we here at the littlebean site will always be here to listen if ever you need our ears.
