Okay, ladies, a year later and I feel I need to update!

I IMPLORE you to look into Joppa Minerals.

Matt bought me Bare Minerals for Christmas. The starter kit. I really liked the Mineral Veil...but I ended up going back to L'Oreal for the foundation part after my Bare Minerals ran out.

Then a friend send me a link to Joppa's stuff.

Joppa Minerals is a FAR superior product in every way. I know someone mentioned in this thread the importance of a good brush when it comes to applying any mineral foundation--and that is absolutely RIGHT! I bought two brushes from Joppa and I also bought their version of Mineral Veil--called "Finishing Powder" and I like it much better.

The woman that owns it is really just starting out, the company isn't very old. She personally wrote to me when I placed my order and threw in some samples for me as well when I mentioned I was not sure about color. The brushes I bought were the Ultimate Kabuki for my foundation, and the Powder/Buffer for the finishing powder. My Kabuki brush is SO soft!! It makes a huge difference when you put the foundation on. Priscilla mentioned that the L'Oreal made her itch--ITA!!! It was that awful built-in brush, though, that made me itch. Once I applied the L'Oreal with the Joppa brush, no problem whatsoever.

So there ya go. My commercial for Joppa. Seriously though, I am hooked.
